Bookroo Children's Book Subscription Service

Reading to your kids is so important - even from an early age. Though they don't understand what you are necessarily saying, they love to hear your voice and are like little sponges, always learning.

Among the noteworthy benefits of reading to children are:
Reading to children literally turns on brain cells
Reading to children expands their imaginations and their understanding of the world
Reading to newborns not only increases their vocabulary but also improves their mathematical skills
Reading to children before they begin preschool helps them perform better in all aspects of formal education; and
Reading to children helps them learn to be readers themselves

Bookroo is a book subscription service where they send you books to your home every month. Each box contains either 2 picture books or 3 books board books.

Their mission:
Our mission is to enable and empower parents to build their children's book collections in an affordable and exciting way through curated monthly book deliveries. We believe in the power and impact of the written word in the life of a child, and believe it’s never too early to start reading to children!

You can sign up for a 1, 3 or 6 month subscription - shipping in the US is always free!

The combined retail value of the books will always be more than your subscription price.

I love that fact the Bookroo is a family business - was created by 3 brothers and their wives - striving to create an awesome subscription service for little ones, helping to provide quality books. If that is not awesome enough, Bookroo gives back by donating books to children in need through Reach Out And Read!

My kids LOVE books. They always get so excited whenever they get a new book!

With the holidays (or birthdays) around the corner, this could make a great gift for kids, grandkids, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors!

Bookroo was kind enough to give a $4 off coupon to my readers! Using this link, you will get $4 off any of the subscription packages you choose! (The discount will reflect on the check out page).

{REVIEW} Disney On Ice! Dare to Dream

My family and I were lucky enough to receive tickets to the Disney on Ice Dare to Dream show! It was such a fun and entertaining show, that the time just flew by.

As usual, our Disney fan favorites, Micky and Minnie Mouse were our hosts for the evening as we dived into an exciting adventure starting with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  The audience watches as the Evil Queen tells the huntsmen to capture Snow White and return with her heart. We watched as he tells her to run and she finds refuge with the wonderful Dwarfs!

Next up was the story of Rapunzel and her quest to see the lights in the sky. She goes on a journey with Flynn and learns of her royal background, all the while falling in love and getting the happy ending that she deserves!

Cinderella's tale tells the story of her Fairy God Mother helping her get to the ball where she meets her Prince Charming. As we know, Cinderella needs to leave before midnight and the only thing the Prince could find was her glass slipper. We see how the Prince looks through the village to find is Princess. Happily ever after, he finds Cinderella and they live happily ever after!

The entire show was captivating from start to end. If you haven't had a chance to check out a Disney On Ice show yet, I definitely recommend checking them out the next time they are in an area near you!

Disclosure: I was provided with tickets to the show for review purposes. I was under no obligation to write a positive review.  All opinions expressed are completely 100% my own based on my experience and are not influenced by any form of compensation.
