Pandora's Secret Box Review and $20 GIVEAWAY!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting (via etsy) Janice, the SUPER talented owner of Pandora's Secret Box. She was kind enough to send me a few items from her shop to review!

Janice makes SUPER adorable headband accessories for little girls as well as GORGEOUS handmade jewelry.  Personally, I think she must be a super mom, because when my little man was 8 months old, I was lucky just to take a shower, let alone craft such awesome pieces! The best part is that everything is so reasonably priced!  All of the children's accessories are priced at $4.00!

My name is Janice and I am the owner of Pandora's Secret Box. I'm the mother of a beautiful eight-month old infant, and I truly enjoy crafting in my spare time. Because I am always on-the-go, I believe that every wardrobe needs some eye-catching pieces that can easily convert from day to night. That's the idea behind Pandora's Secret Box. Even the girls' handmade accessories can be dressed up or down and each piece is original and unique, just like it's wearer. 

Below are the items she sent me to review:

OMG! This headband is to DIE for! The great thing about this, is that it can be dressed up or down.  I can totally see a little girl wearing it school or to a special occasion. The headband piece is white interlaced with sparkly silver.  The rosette is made of a lovely brown sheer fabric.  A beautiful white lace along with pearl-like beads accompany the centerpiece. This is one of those accessories that you can use with anything! Very versatile which is great for mom's on the go who don't have a lot of time to pick and choose to see what will work best with which outfit. Here is a link to a similar piece.

I wish this would fit my head! This just may be my FAVORITE piece. The rosette on this headband is made out of gold and brown fabric with a turquoise button in the middle matching the turquoise lace headband piece. Adding to it's cuteness, is an owl print ribbon below the flower that almost acts as the flower petals! What I love about this piece, is that headband is made of a soft, stretchy material! (Meaning it won't pull out the delicate hair of the little girl who is wearing it. I have friends who have daughters and the girls are not fans of things in their hair because they know it will hurt when they are trying to take them out. This is great, because they can put it on and take it off over and over without having to worry about pulling their hair! This is such a cute one too! The first thing it made me think of is 4th of July! The flower part is made of a fun red and white checkered fabric and is accompanied by lovely red lace and white "pearl" beading. The headband piece is a black soft stretchy material. It's great, because all of these pieces are made so that the little girl's wearing them don't have to worry about getting their hair caught or pulled out while taking it out of their hair. I can tell you, it's not fun getting your hair stuck in a hair tie or anything similar. It really hurts and is very annoying trying to get a few strands of your hair out. To be honest, you will probably not win the battle and lose those few pieces of hair anyways.

The picture doesn't do this bracelet justice! The green color of the natural stones in the bracelet is unreal! It has a deep, rich color to it. Almost reminds me of the color of an emerald. The rest of the crystals, gems and beads in this bracelet are magnificent as well.  It is all around a beautiful piece.  It can be worn to the office, but be dressed up and worn out during a night on the town! The toggle clasp is great, making it easy to put on and take off.  It is quite clear that a lot of thought and preparation went into putting the bracelet together to make all of the pieces look cohesive...and well...just plain GREAT!

The green stones in this earring, match those of the bracelet. I love the light blue crystal accent on top of the stone. It gives the earrings just enough 'sparkle'.  I love dangly earrings and these are the perfect length.  If they are too long, it can get distracting.  If they are too short...then they really aren't dangly, are they?! They are a good weight too. Sometimes earrings can be too heavy and really pull on your ear. Because of the stones, I wasn't sure if it was going to be too heavy, but they really are not. You can feel them in there, but not in a distracting way.  Very cute!  

I wore the earring/bracelet combo to work the other day and all of the ladies in my office stopped to complement my jewelry! YAY! :)
